Whether you’re clicking buttons on a cube, spinning the hell out of that three-pronged thingamajig, or are incredibly vexed by people doing either of these things, it’s impossible not to notice that fidget toy fad has impounded the attention of just about everyone. Capitalise on that fad is the Spinner Cube, a fidget toy on Kickstarter that’s literally taking everything that you love about fidget spinners and rolling it into one.

The Spinner Cube is pretty self-explanatory, and isn’t unlike a regular fidget cube. It’s get six sides, each with a different mechanism to fidget with. You’ve got your joystick to sate your inner gamer, three rolling click-y balls, a spring-loaded trigger, and five buttons to press away. What makes this particular fidget toy interesting is the inclusion of a spinner.

That’s right, you can spin this cube to your heart’s content. On a good flick, it can spin for about 60 seconds, but with a few tilts, you can send that thing going for as long as you crave.

Mitchell Sorkin, the cofounder of the company behind Spinner Cube, developed the Spinner Cube after researching the fidget toy trend and trying to hone in on what was popular. Sorkin views this Kickstarter project as the next logical step on the tremendous fad.

“Spinner Cube wraps up novelty, evolution, and build quality all in one, ” he says. “If not just for the awesome product design, I imagine Spinner Cube will stand out in the market by being the obvious next iteration.”
